All deliveries are a "Dedicated Delivery" This means that your goods are loaded into one van and then driven directly to your customer�s door (without being passed from van to van), ensuring your customer receives their goods in the same condition you sent them and without getting lost - this also explains why it is a more expensive service than Royal Mail !

Please remember Alpha Couriers is based in Guildford in Surrey so most journeys start from Guildford and are priced accordingly to allow for "dead mileage"

Charges are from collection point to delivery destination (except-see above) and are generally charged per mile subject to a �25 minimun charge - this means most deliveries will probably cost more!

The weight of item being sent does not affect the price - only the loading time may affect it

Waiting or loading at the collection or delivery address is free for the first 15 minutes. If required to wait or the loading takes longer the full time from arrival is charged at 35p per minute (�21 hour)

�6.00 is charged for extra drops or collections after the initial first drop

A delivery with a return to the collection point is charged at +33%

Out of office hours - generally before 8.30am or after 6.00pm and weekends is usually charged an extra 25% (but not always!)

London deliveries are always charged extra - please phone for a quote

Alpha Couriers does not charge VAT!

Europe deliveries are also a "Dedicated Vehicle" and as the ferry alone costs nearly �200 - charges to overseas starts at �299

Prices on this page are a rough guide only to give you an idea of courier costs ie Alpha Couriers does not deliver to the other side of the country for �25 like Parcel Force, DHL, TNT, UPS etc!

Discounts are sometimes given, keep an eye out for a discount voucher on "Services" page!
